The award winning Mince Pie Pud is available for the first time this Christmas. It recently won the overall Best Festive Cake and Pudding category at the Baking Industry Christmas stars competition.
Made of two mince pies that are cleverly combined to form the shape of a Christmas pudding. The pastry contains Christmas spices and the mincemeat is from the same recipe that we use in our Great Taste Award winning Mince Pies.
The concept of The Mince Pie Pud evolved from ‘The Orange’ which appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Best Bakery and the judges Mich Turner (MBE) and Peter Sidwell proclaimed it to be the “Best wild card of the series.” The Orange then went on to win the Innovation Award at the 2014 Baking Industry Awards.
All in all, a product that is truly endorsed by industry experts.
